2011.8.10Description
Black hardback Universal Poison Register book with gold lettering. Was used in the McMullin trial as the Peoples exhibit 9 (or G). The registry was used by the Clifton Drugstore (according to the paperwork but interior of the book has Lende Drug Store 3/15/1947). The Lende Drug Store was on 554 Main Street. This registry is significant because Roy Maxson purchased strychnine on 5/8/1947 to poison mice and was considered suspicious by the prosecution. This was after Maxson had already purchased strychnine only months before and misspelled his name.
