Identifier:

Description
1959 Diamond Jubilee. Shorty (Charles) Knight People: Shorty Charles Knight.
This is a black and white photograph. The bottom of the photo reads, "It's Real - a more likely-looking prospector than Shorty (Charles) Knight, would be hard to find. He has assembled this outfit, including a genuine gold pan belonging to Bernard Rigirozzi, for his part in the Friendship Jubilee pageant. The burro, named Jack, is the property of Wayne Ford. Shorty, who lives at 427 N. 19th St., was recruited for the part by Mrs. Norma Allen because of his real beard. Daily Sentinel Photo."
This photo shows a man dressed in cowboy attire tying his shoe on the ground, with a shotgun wrapped around his shoulder. A donkey stands behind him, with a blanket and a pan tied to it's side. They appear to be on somewhat of a hiking trail on a dirt path.
