Railroad Yard

Photograph -- Black-and-White Photograph

Identifier:

Description
Two coach storage tracks are being taken out of the Rio Grande yard here, unneeded since the discontinuance of the Royal Gorge and the Prospector several years ago. The 20-year old ties are still sound an being shipped to the Eastern Slope. The rails will probably go to that same area.
This is a black and white photograph picturing a railroad yard. Two workers wearing uniforms are in the left side of the photo working on a railway. Another worker is much farther back in the photo. On the right side of the photo is another railway and in the back of the photo is a iron bridge and an electric tower.
