Description
This is an off white ceramic plate which has graphics and print done in brown. In the center of the plate reads, "Grand Junction, Colorado 100 Years 1882-1982" along with a mountain in the background. Surrounding the logo is a picture of Grand Junction High School, Union Depot, Mesa County Courthouse and The Fair Building. 

On the back of the plate, in green print it reads, "This plate commemorates the founding of Grand Junction, Colorado. Located on the Western slope of the Rocky Mountains, it serves as the center of trade, transportation, and services for a vast area of farming, ranching and mining country of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. The four buildings which appear on this plate are significant representatives of education, commerce, government and transportation - key ingredients in the structure of this vibrant community located in Colorado West."
