Grand Junction High School

About
The first Grand Junction High School was at 6th and Rood and was founded in 1891. 
The school moved to the central unit consisting of the heating plant, toilet system, assembly room to seat 500 people, and recitation rooms, which was built in 1911. The West wing, consisting of 14 rooms was built in 1917, and the East wing consisting of 13 rooms, was built in 1920.

Established in its current location in January 1956 and will be demolished in 2024.
