Description
Fremont Culture Village by Paul Pletka. Depicts a Native American wearing a red feathered headdres, an adobe structure in the background. A figure is depicted making pottery while another is walking toward the adobe carrying a woven vessel. Pletka worked for the Museum of Western Colorado's exhibit department in the 1970s and painted this scene of a Fremont Culture village as a backdrop for a Fremont Era artifacts exhibition.
