Fannie Nockideneh (American [Navajo]) is a Navajo rug weaver, born in 1960 from Cedar Ridge, AZ. She is the daughter of Alice Nockideneh, and the sister of Daisy and Shirley Nockideneh. Alice taught her daughters at a young age the art of weaving, Fannie herself has been weaving since the 1970s. She is well known for weaving Bird Pictorial designs. Her awards include: 1993 First, "Navajo Show", Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff, AZ. Publications: Hedlund 1994 Contemporary Navajo Weaving.
