About
Kimo DeCora, American, Isleta Puebloan. DeCora is an award-winning potter from Isleta Pueblo. His heritage is 1/2 Isleta, 1/2 Winnebago. He specializes in delicate black on white miniature pieces, usually decorated with Mimbres-style designs. Kimo learned the basics of making traditional pottery on his own but he also learned through watching Cipriano Romero Medina and John Montoya working.
