Mrs. Edna Fay (Rose) Chiesman was born September 15, 1887, in Hastings, Nebraska. She attended primary school in Franklin, NE, and graduated from the Franklin Conservatory of Music in 1905. She married Wayne Chiesman, manager of the Grand Valley Water Users Association, in 1910 in Nebraska. They moved to Grand Junction, CO, in 1922, and were residents until their passing. Edna was a talented musician and active member of the Wednesday Music Club, the Grand Junction Woman's Club, the Grand Junction Garden Club, the Eastern Star, and the Presbyterian Church. She is often referenced in historical documents as "Mrs. W. J. Chiesman". Edna Chiesman passed away January 23, 1976, at her daughter's home in Seattle, Washington.Daily Sentinel Obituary
