The soliciting committees on the Methodist church building fund have brought the visible funds for the new Methodist church to $3,978.00, the lust week when a campaign was carried on by church workers. This must be raised to $4,500 before work starts. To raise a little more money for the fund the church lias secured Paul Blackwell, talented reader from Grand Junction, to give a reading at the Methodist church next Wednesday night, the funds secured thus to be applied to the church fund. The admission will be 35 cents and a splendid program Is assured. Mr. Blackwell will read one of his ten plays to be announced Monday. Plan to see and hear Mr. Blackwell end help swell the church fund. There ought to be 500 people at the entertainment. The Sunday school will sell tickets.
