Description
Ceramic brownware (plainware) vessel, with a large portion of the base and one side missing. There is one intentional drill hole approximately 11mm in diameter at the neck of the vessel. Identified as prehistoric Ute. Found in 1938 under a large boulder in Horseshoe Canyon, southwest of De Beque, CO. It was collected in 1958, and donated to the Museum in 1978.
