Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Road lantern: No. 247. Made by Adams and Westlake in Chicago and New York. Under the base reads: "Adlake no. 24 lantern. Pat no. 1,893,293. Pats Pending"Two small lights bulbs are under the base. Base is a tall metal cylinder with a coated black handle and is suspended above the ground with an elongated circular base.
