Red flowered print silk dress with satin sash and trim. Red Flowers with green stem are placed on a yellow and black background.Belonged to Mary Porter, who died at the age of 91 in 1972.
This dress was sewn using French seams, and a bias-bound neckline and armscye. Probably made at home. No lining, although there is an additional layer under the bottom flounce.
