Description
Jicarilla Apache Basket Tray/Mixing Basket. The basket is decorated with green and red designs, which have faded to the point at which they are imperceptible. There are remnants of residue from usage or sealing. The baske tis a deep tan color. Many pieces of the coil are exposed where the weave has frayed off. The base is flat and the walls of the basket slope up at a wide angle to form a mixing basket or basket tray. Most of the coils around the outside bottom are exposed. The center of the coil in the bottom is open.
