Female Euphydryas anicia alena butterfly collected by Will Minor on June 2nd, 1939, in Black Ridge, Colorado.Lepidoptera specimen, pressed inside of an almost flat, square, plastic container. There is a raised "bubble" in the center of the plastic that houses the body of the specimen.
Specimen is patterned with red-orange, dark brown/black, and tan.
