Description
Lepidoptera specimen, pressed inside of an almost flat, square, plastic container. There is a raised "bubble" in the center of the plastic that houses the body of the specimen.
Original label identifies specimen as "[Male] Automeris Io" and notes that it came from Minocqua, Wisconsin.
The specimen is pale yellow with dusty-pink, black, and gray details. It has yellow, plumose (feathery) antennae and compact, fuzzy body.
