Description
White wool fireman's shirt (and undershirt). Undershirt can be attached to the shirt via 3 buttons on the shoulders and back. The undershirt has bronze buttons that go down the front and are decorated with an "FD" for Fire Department. The lapel of the overshirt is navy with red "1" on both sides. The sleeve hems are also a navy blue and end at the wrist.
These items are significant and were used by the Grand Junction Fire Department in the early days, most likely the Hose Cart Team.
