Description
Petrol green dress in silk or wool serge with net and silk velvet. 
Square neckline with embroidered net insert to a high neck, edged with velvet trim.  Back of bodice has a square neckline with the same insert as the front with one button and 5 circles of silk (either to replace buttons or instead of buttons). Drop shoulder seams. Sleeves are cut-on with rectangular gusset and in 3 additional pieces (silk, velvet and embroidered net) edged in velvet. There are 3 velvet covered buttons on each sleeve.  Bodice is sewn to skirt. Bias trim inserted in the seams of v-shaped insert.  Two pleats and 3 decorative buttons on each side insert. Straight natural waistline straight seam.

Underskirt is gathered on the sides and flatter in the front and back and reaches the floor and is made with different fabric   The over skirt has two darts in the back and is calf length.

Hooked and eye fasteners down the back. There is a tear in the silk portion of the left sleeve.
