Small cast iron safe, very ornate, "Fidelity Trust Vaults" inscribed on safe. Door to safe has a worn clock face. Sides of safe have recess with animal face. Back of safe has "Counting Safe" inscribed at the top, bust of an individual with "Cashier" inscribed under that, with a coin slot going into the safe below the bust.Letter inside of safe, gives history of the object, dated 1910.
Originally belonged to Walter Walker (1883-1956), who bought the safe when he was 7 years old with the first money he ever earned. Was used by every male member of the Walker family.
