"Dear Mary I guess you think I've forgotten you but I haven't we've been moving around so much i haven't had time to write. We are at Ouray now Laurence is working at the Sutton Mine doing carpenter work. He gets $8.00 for 8 hours work, but I have to live alone and I sure hate that. I think he will probably stay home when he comes down Sat. He wants to get on at the mine before town then he can be home all the time but of course won't be so much money. There's no news now so I'll close and go to bed. Virgil's coming up to spend Sat and Sunday with us and her husband he's working with Dick. With love, Leona + family".
