Booklet of the historical significance of Madison County, Iowa, published by the Madison County Historical Society, compiled by Lloyd Smith. This booklet tells the history of Madison County. Bruce Benge wrote at the top, "Please serve this as a reference book." While it is not relevant to GJ, it was where the Benge family immigrated from, along with many other residences. The first shoe store started by Bertrand Benge was in Madison County, Iowa before moving to Grand Junction.Content Date:
