Description
Polychrome vase, with butterflies by Dee Setalla (American [Hopi, AZ]) c. 2014. 10.5" x 11". Native clays and vegetal and mineral paints. Widest circumference is near the bottom of the vase and the concave sides rise to a flaring, lobed rim. The jar is finished in polished buff slip decorated with butterfly, dragonfly, and corn motifs in red and black.
