Zuni Owl Vessel by Anderson Peynetsa (American [Zuni Pueblo], b. 1964), c. 2014, native clay and vegetal paint, 9.5" x 9". The stylized owl has a bulbous body, very short rectangular wings, and open mouth. The red clay is coated with white slip and feathers and eyes are defined with black paint.Content Date:
