Description
A fold-out circular advertisement for Royal Society Embroidery Package Outfits, which would be sent postage prepaid by The Crews-Beggs Dry Goods Co, in Pueblo, Colorado. The shop advertised itself as "the largest mail order house in the Rocky Mountain Region."
The circular includes adds for kits containing "made-up or stamped articles, sufficient floss to complete the embroidery, and instructions."
The kits were for women's underthings (mostly made from (cotton) voile or batiste) including nightgowns, drawers, chemises, pajamas, and combinations. It also included aprons, children's clothing, napkins, and pillow cases.
