Calif., June 8-- Long Awaited Diploma-- Rep. Ben Nighthorse Campbell, D-Colorado, looks at his high school diploma he received 40 years late. Campbell, 58, left Placer High in December 1951, six months before graduating, to join the Air Force. While in the military, he completed academic requirements for graduation but got no diploma. Saturday, Campbell joined the Placer High class of 1991 and received his diploma.
