Description
39 Images of Soupeaters Christmas Party - circa 1920. Al Look, who wrote "On Guard for The Daily Sentinel, collected old unwanted toys, Grand Junction firemen repaired them and the toys were then given to less fortunate children at a free show at the Avalon Theatre. Around 1,500 children got toys. There are 23 photos in this files No. 39 through 62. Photoswere by Frank Dean.
This is a black and white photograph picturing four young children. The boy on the far right is wearing a gray suit and is holding a truck. The boy standing next to him is wearing a darker peacoat and is holding a tamborine - esque toy. The girl standing slightly behind him is wearing a black coat and a hat. the youngest girl stands on the right and is wearing a white outfit and has curly blonde hair. She has a stroller that she is pushing.
