Description
39 Images of Soupeaters Christmas Party - circa 1920. Al Look, who wrote "On Guard for The Daily Sentinel, collected old unwanted toys, Grand Junction firemen repaired them and the toys were then given to less fortunate children at a free show at the Avalon Theatre. Around 1,500 children got toys. There are 23 photos in this files No. 39 through 62. Photoswere by Frank Dean.
This is a black and white photograph picturing a family of 6. The father wears a large black coat with fur and a dark hat, and the girl standing next to him is wearing a lighter peacoat with a bowl hat. The boy standing next to her is as tall as the father and is also wearing a dark coat and a hat. The girl standing next to him is wearing a lighter coat with a dark fur trim around the neck. Two young children stand in front, one holding a bike, and one that is wearing several layers, some dark, some light.
