Description
39 Images of Soupeaters Christmas Party - circa 1920. Al Look, who wrote "On Guard for The Daily Sentinel, collected old unwanted toys, Grand Junction firemen repaired them and the toys were then given to less fortunate children at a free show at the Avalon Theatre. Around 1,500 children got toys. There are 23 photos in this files No. 39 through 62. Photos were by Frank Dean.
This is a black and white photograph picturing a group of children standing in front of large cardboard boxes filled with toys. A older woman stands in the middle of the children wearing a light peacoat and has short dark curly hair. The children in the forefront of the photo are all holding toys and the children in the background are walking around the children in the front.
