Description
39 Images of Soupeaters Christmas Party - circa 1920. Al Look, who wrote "On Guard for The Daily Sentinel, collected old unwanted toys, Grand Junction firemen repaired them and the toys were then given to less fortunate children at a free show at the Avalon Theatre. Around 1,500 children got toys. There are 23 photos in this files No. 39 through 62. Photoswere by Frank Dean.
This is a black and white photograph of a family attending the soupeaters christmas party. There is a mother, father, a young boy and little girl, and a baby being carried by the father. The father is wearing dark clothes, with tall, dark boots, the mother is wearing brown shoes with a gingham jacket. The young boy is wearing a sort of helmet - hat, a striped shirt and a dark jacket and dark pants. The young girl is wearing a beanie and a dark jacket, with a scooter in front of her and the baby is dressed in all white with dark shoes.
