Description
Eberline Model Ps-2. Long, Rectangular Tan Box With Brass-colored Lid Attached On Either Shorter Side With Clamps. On Top Of The Lid At The Top Is A Black Rectangule With A Red Digital Meter In The Center. Above The Red Meter Is The Brand Name: Eberline. To The Left Of The Red Meter Are The Words Batt Ok. To The Right Of The Meter The Word: Counting. Below The Meter: Portable Model Ps-2 Santa Fe New Mexico. Below The Black Rectangle Is The Blue Lable: Factor 3.3. Below That And To The Right Is The Push To Display Button, And Below That An Output Knob. In The Center Below The Meter Is The Swan-shaped Handle Attached Below The Black Rec. And At The Far End. Under The Handle Is At Turning Knob: Stop/ Off/ Man/ Batt/ Minute 1-10. To The Left Of The Handle Is The Start/reset Button And To The Left Of That A H.V/ Adj. Button. On The Right Long Side Of The Box Is A Sticker Lable Giving The Last Date The Geiger Counter Was Calibrated: 6-27-88, The Calibrator: Leona Vaugh, And The Date Of The Next Calibration: 9-27-88. On The Short End Above The Meter And Below The Clamp Which Attaches The Lid, A Cable Is Attached Which Runs To The Large Round G-m Tube. After The Wire Connects To The Tube Ther Is A Skinny Round Metal Part Then Turns Into A Fatter Metal Tube (once Painted Black) At That Point, There Are Four Lables. The Top One Reads: S/n 195; The Next: Some Sort Of Brand Lable On Which The Writing Is Mostly Worn Away; Below That The Label: Std 10807; Below That: Ut019001a Is Carved Into The Metal Tube. At The End Of The Tube Is A Long, Flat Peice Of Metal And On The End In The Center Are Three Blue Dots. On The Main Box Lid, Attached To The Battety Knob Left Of The Handle And Below The Start/restart Button Is A Attached A Battery Charger Cord That Runs To A Small Black Box And Then To An Outlet Plug.
