Description
National Women's Relief Corps President badge. Copper top with pin and the word "president" connected to a copper shield with the letters, "f", "l", "c" overlapping each other. Also connected to a piece of silver ribbon. At the opposite end of the ribbon is a copper cross with the logo of the NWRC. In the center is the picture of two people (soldiers?) shaking hands with flags behind them. A third person stands between them. Kneeling between the two hand shakers is a women holding a child. Stars surround the image and the words, "women's", "relief", "corps", "1883". On the reverse of the cross are the words, "patented May 4, And Sept. 28, 1886."
