White baseball with red thread, on the top of the base ball in fading black text reads, "167, 9 Inch-5 Ounces, Yarn Wounds, Cork Center" In the front center, also in fading text, "Official League" and on the bottom of the baseball is the faded Spalding logo, with "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Made in U.S.A." below it.The baseball box is 7x7x7cm, red, white and blue in color. On the top of the box reads, "Spalding, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off" which is in blue text, below it in red text is, "Baseball" with a blue illustration of two men playing baseball, and in red text, "Quality Ever Since 1876" On the bottom of the box is the Spalding baseball logo, "Marca Registrada, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Quality Ever Since 1876" Two sides of the box are identical with a red stripe on top, a thick white stripe in the middle and blue stripe on the bottom. On the red stripe it reads, "A.G. Spalding + Bros." On the blue stripe reads, "Famous Throughout the World" The last two sides are identical printing, reading, "Spalding" on the red stripe and on the blue stripe reads, "Play Ball with Spalding Equipment."
The seal around the box reads:
"This seal should not be broken until delivered to consumer, The Product Herein Contains: Wool...63%, Reused Wool...18%, Reprocessed Wool...11%, Nylon...7%, Other Fibres...1%, Exclusive of Cork Center, Finishing Threads, Cover and Hand Sewing Threads, Manufactured by A.G. Spalding & Bros., Inc"
