Description
Letter from Elmer Craven to Lois Strain, who he would marry July 3 or that year in Salida. The letter is on letterhead from "The Fair" wholesale and retail dry goods, notions. Letterhead states W.J. Moyer & Co, proprietors.

My Dear Lois:
Mr. Moyer has just informed me that he will leave on Wednesday for his trip, and I said to him "perhaps Lois would be willing to help us in your absence" and he expressed a wish that you might be able to do so, and I told him I would write and see if you could come.
So my dear I am writing about it now and if you can spare the time to come pretty soon I should be very glad.
I am glad for our visit yesterday and enjoyed very much the visit.
As ever with love from
Elmer.
