Dress is made from a black, sheer, textured unknown fabric, possibly synthetic. Fabric consists of multiple small pleats in zigzag pattern. Bias binding around edges of neckline and sleeves, possibly satin. Dress features round neckline and attached cap sleeves. Belt made possibly from satin sits at natural waist. Belt has "1975 1b [illegible]" printed on inside. Two darts in bodice led to six pleats in waist line. Dress features a calf length, A-line skirt. Zipper along back of dress.Dress originally identified as "Mom's 1940"
