Description
1999.55.20a: blazer, 1999.55.20b: skirt

Blazer and skirt appear to be made from a brown wool with yellow thread detailing. The blazer has dark brown velvet accents in the lapel and buttons. The jacket is lined with an unknown, dark brown material. The blazer features full length sleeves with turnback cuffing, with a single button sewn into place, and a peak lapel collar shape. Five velvet buttons fasten the blazer closed in the front. Blazer goes in at the waist. 
Skirt appears to be calf length, sitting at the natural waist. Skirt features a waistband and multiple darts. Zipper and button on back of skirt to fasten it. 
"Muriels Springfield - New Haven" tag sewn into jacket. 
Donor's name on tag sewn into skirt. Identified as belonging to their mom.
