A black and white photograph depicting a set of railroad tracks heading into a tunnel entrance located in the upper quadrant of the frame. The tunnel itself has two lights on either side and across the top we can see the words "Moffat Tunnel" with the words "EST" on the left side of the entrance and "1927" on the right side. Trees poke over the top of the tunnel entrance in the top of the photograph.
