Description
A black-and-white portrait photo of a woman standing on what appears to be a set of steps in front of a building, likely a house. A garden hose is attached to the wall slightly to the left of where she is standing, and the edge of what is likely an angiosperm shrub can be seen to the right. She is wearing spectacles, a ring, and some sort of ribbon-adorned accessory on her left shoulder, as well as heeled shoes and relatively dark clothing. Her right hand is resting on a windowsill, and her left hand is holding an object that may be a wristwatch. On the back side of the photograph, a handwritten pen note reads "May 31, 1946", printed text reads "Velox", a circular blue stamp reads "Midwest Photo, Grand Junction, Colo." in its center, and an additional stamp may read "^990", "065V", or "OSSV"
