Description
Two-piece blue and yellow bodice and skirt. Dress was inherited from Priscilla Crossley Maher (mother of donor) who wore it in 1893.
The neckline of the bodice is at the base of neck, with a yellow pleated collar. The shoulder seam is natural with full sleeves that end below the elbow and "cuffs" are also pleated. Bodice has button closure
Darts used to be on the bodice and more in the skirt before they were let out. 
Skirt is gored, full, and has a single horizontal ruffle. Skirt has a single hook and eye closure on the center back. Waistline is between the natural waist and hips. Skirt length is between calf and ankles, and has a multi-layered skirt.
