Description
Coiled or rod and bundle basket. The mouth of the basket is slightly smaller than the widest point at the middle. There is a hole on the side approximately 7cm x 2 cm. The basket has some remnants of dark brown/black chunks in the bottom. The color is light tan with dark brown discoloration and residue. According to the gift deed, the basket potentially originates from the Fremont Native Americans which may be consistent with the weave pattern.
