Description
Black blouse with silver & Black Beads throughout. It has lace & ribbon trim. It has a silk lining and a boned waist interior to support the top. It has full-length cotton sleeves with tucks of varying sizes down to the cuffs. There is a waist stay ribbon that fastens tightly to the waist in the front in the interior. This would take the strain off of the rest of the garment's clasps to ensure they would stay intact. There are sequins on the bodice around the lace midline. Ruffles are a silk chiffon fabric that is present on the shoulders. The collar is high and has velvet pieces around it horizontally. 
Tag indicates the maker as Madame Beddoes, who was a London (and court) dressmaker.
