Photograph of the exterior of City Meat Market, taken in 1916. The store was located on the west side of Main Street in Palisade, CO. There is a man wearing a long white apron, identified as Ray Pryor, standing in front of the storefront to the left of the door. A small child is visible in the window next to him, identified as Ira Pryor, and a tricycle sits on the sidewalk to the right. A sign with the words "City Meat Market" sits atop the building. A fabric awning is attached to the front of the building, retracted.Attached to the front of the photograph is a piece of paper with the typed caption, "City Meat Market,1916 West side Main / Ray Pryor in front". Written on the back of the photo in blue ink is the message, "Ira Pryor. / Ray Pryor / -1916-".
