Description
Matted group portrait of the first uniformed band in Palisade, CO, ca. 1904-1905. The photograph depicts 18 unidentified men dressed in matching uniforms holding musical instruments. A bass drum sitting on the ground in front of the group has a peach painted on it along with the words, "Palisade Concert Band. Palisade Colo. Home of the Peach". Director of the band was Clint Martin, John Donston was manager.
