Black and white photograph of an early automobile crossing a wooden plank bridge over a dry stream bed. The location has been identified as the crossing of Plateau Creek in Plateau Canyon. The photo was taken June 1918. Mountains rise over the scene in the background, the terrain is primarily vertical with large boulders and scrub bushes. The car is occupied by people, but the interior of the car is too dark to make out any details.Written on the back of the photo in pencil is the message, "Road along Plateau Creek / in Plateau Canon / June 1918".
