Description
Black and white postcard photograph of a tree branch with 9 peaches and leaves attached. The typed caption along the bottom margin of the photo reads, "Jordan Grows the Big Ones at Palisade, Colorado, / 'The Home of The Peach'". On the back of the postcard above the correspondence section is an image of Jordan's Inn (proprietor J. O. Beauchamp) in Palisade, Colorado. 

The postcard is postmarked from Palisades, CO (later officially changed to "Palisade"), December 9, 1908, at 7pm. It was sent by Mrs. Bert Jordan of Palisade to a Mrs. Harry Harris of Stewart, Iowa. Written in the correspondence section of the postcard is the message, "Hellow how are the / children let us here from / you as we didnt get to / say good by. / Mrs. Bert Jordan.". A green one cent stamp is affixed to the top right corner.
