.52 caliber Carbine, model 1846.
Hall-North Breech Loading Percussion Carbine, known as the Side Lever Hall, was made by the Simeon North Arms Company from 1844 to 1853. This single shot carbine has a standard iron barrel. However, after 1848, Hall arms were marked "STEEL" near the rear sight. Union volunteer units used this weapon during the Civil War.
